Lawmakers Contemplate Next Session’s Bonding Bill
(St. Paul, MN) – State lawmakers were able to push through a 700 million dollar bonding bill during the last special session. But can they do it again in the upcoming session? D-F-L Senator Nick Frentz of North Mankato says these projects never get cheaper, and “when we fail to bond, we really fail to serve the people. And there’s a need everywhere you look, and we can do it.” Frentz was one of several lawmakers on the Capitol Investment Committee who toured potential future bonding projects in southern Minnesota last week.
