Leonard Michael Capaul Jr., age 96, of Carver, MN, died peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025 at St. Gertrude’s Health Care Center, Shakopee, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 W. 2nd St., Chaska, MN, with Father Tony VanderLoop presiding. The visitation will be 10:00 -11:00 AM at the church. Casketbearers will be his grandchildren. The burial will be at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Carver, MN.
Survivors include loving wife, Joann, his children, Gene Capaul (Cristina) of Olivia, Gary (Gail) Capaul of Carver, Richard (Diana) Capaul of LeSueur, Audrey (Jeff) Krings of Park Rapids, Joyce (Frank) Emery of Chaska, Leonard “Mike” Capaul III of Mankato, Joe (Julie) Capaul of Prior Lake, Janice (David) Tippett of Canyon Lake, TX; 10 grandchildren, John (Abigail) Capaul, Andrea Capaul, Amy Capaul, Amber Capaul, David (Bergit) Krings, Lindsey (Teresa) Saxon, Katie (Nick) Bettcher, Andrew Capaul, Jake (Lydia) Figary, Jared Figary; 5 great grandchildren, Leo, Talen, Hunter, Weston and Theodora; 3 stepchildren, Cindy (Brad) Ferguson of Chaska, Joannie Lochiden of Rochester, Jeff (Gretchen) Stans of Forest Lake; 6 step grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home of Chaska, MN.
