Lester A. Helget, age 83 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on Friday, August 8, 2025, at his home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with a Prayer Service at 3:45 pm prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 10:15 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 am and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Craig Timmerman. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
