There was a lot of basketball finals from Friday Night.

Boy’s Basketball finals:

Belle Plaine came to New ulm and defeated the Eagles 92 to 86, St Peter was a big winner over Tri City United 80 to 29, Waseca hammers Fairmont 78 to 40, Marshall defeats Delano 74 to 55. In the Tomahawk-GFW made 10 second half three’s to run past Cathedral 64 to 39, Cedar Mountain remains unbeaten with a 84 to 62 win over Wabasso. South Central finals-Maple River 82 to 52 win over MVL, LCWM edges Lesueur/Henderson 68 to 66 and Sibley East was a 65 to 47 winner over St Clair. Valley Finals-GHECML/Truman defeats Loyola 65 to 55, Madelia was a 74 to 57 winner over Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons and Martin County West sneaks past Cleveland 76 to 75.

Girl’s Basketball:

Big South finals-New Ulm gets a 92 to 64 road win over Belle Plaine, Tri City United hands St Peter their third straight loss 76 to 61, Marshall was a 64 to 24 winner over Redwood Valley and Fairmont defeats Waseca 32 to 14. Tomhawk Finals-Springfield was a 66 to 63 winner over Sleepy Eye, Cedar Mountain defeats Wabasso 73 to 64.  Nicollet picks up a non-league win over Sibley east 65 to 47 and St James was a 72 to 54 winner over Loyola. Red Rock finals-Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeats Red Rock Central 60 to 40 and Westbrook/Walnut Grove was a 59 to 40 winner over Edgerton. BOLD gets a West Central win over Melrose 56 to 43.

Girl’s Hockey:

Minnesota River gets a conference win over Windom 3 to 1

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus was a 5 to 1 winner over St Mary’s.
