Lori Lynn Jackels, age 60, of Arlington, MN ascended into Heaven on Eagle Wings surrounded by loved ones at her home the morning of January 18th, 2025 after her courageous battle with cancer. Visitation for the public will be held from 4pm-7pm at Kolden Funeral Home, Arlington, MN on Friday, January 24th, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, Green Isle Twp. with visitation held 1 hour prior to service. Following Service, food and fellowship will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Green Isle, MN.

Lori was Born March 11th, 1964 in Arlington, MN to Bernard and Pearl Schauer. She was Baptized/Confirmed in her faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle Twp. She attended Arlington/Green Isle Schools and Graduated in class of 1982. Lori was united in marriage to Richard Jackels on May,12th 1989 at Zion. They were married for 35 years and were blessed with 2 sons, (Ryan and Robert). She worked in various health care facilities throughout her career, bringing joy, happiness, and compassion to all those she served. She worked up to the time that her health declined. In her free time, she enjoyed nature rides, bird watching, bonfires, playing uno, baking, going to movies/plays and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.

She is survived by her Supportive and loving Husband, Richard Jackels, Children, Ryan (Jean) Jackels, and Robert Jackels. Grandchildren Nathan, Nolan, and Elizabeth Jackels, Sisters, Barb (Duane) Pischke, LaVonne Laabs (friend, Delmer), Diane (Nathan) Kohn, Twin Sister Lisa (Juan) Aguilera, Brother-in-laws Joseph (LaRita) Jackels, Vincent (Diane) Jackels of Camano Island, WA, Sylvester Jackels, Leroy (Shirley) Jackels, Johnny (Lori) Jackels, Sister-in-laws Kathleen Goede, Lilamae McDermont, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceeded in death by parents, Bernard and Pearl Schauer, Father/Mother In-Law, Raymond and Marie Jackels, Brother/Sister-in-law, Delbert and Mary Schwendel, Brother-in- law, Bill Goede, and Brother-in-law, Jerry Laabs. Family would like to extend a warm Thank You to Ridgeview Hospitals/Hospice, Family/Friends, and Community for your support during such a difficult time.
