Rev. Shelby Nowland will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday morning. Interment will follow the service, followed by a luncheon served in the church fellowship hall.

Lorraine was born in St. Peter on November 4, 1938 to Clarence and Edna (Sohm) Schwarz. She grew up in Sharon Township, NW of Le Center. She graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1956. In 1957 she met Roger Just and they were married on June 6, 1959 in the newly completed United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. They lived in Minneapolis and later West St. Paul for 33 years. In 1992 they moved to their retirement home at the Just homestead where they lived until recently moving to White Bear Lake.

Lorraine was a housewife and mother, becoming an accomplished cook and seamstress for her family. She worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis after graduating high school. When her children were in high school, she worked at Minnesota Fabric. After relocating to Henderson, Lorraine became an active gardener, continuing her dad's tradition of planting a hill of potatoes on Good Friday. She had a large garden and much of the harvest was canned, frozen, or baked into a delicious dessert; all while continuing sewing clothing for her expanded family. Lorraine’s sole priority in life was to care for her family which continued until her dying day.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, children, Daniel (Sandy), Deborah (James), and David. Grandchildren Patrick (Andrea), Danielle (Brian) and great grandchildren Logan, Zachy, and Mason, and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edna, brothers Eldon (Frances), Eugene “Jaker”, and Neil.
