LSU wins College Baseball World Series

(Omaha, NE/Minnesota News Network) — L-S-U is once again on top of the college baseball world. The Tigers defeated Coastal Carolina 5-3 in the second game of the College World Series championship series Sunday in Omaha to take home their eighth N-C-A-A baseball title. This is L-S-U’s second time winning the College World Series in the last three years. The school’s eight titles are second only to Southern California’s 12. The Tigers ended their championship season with a record of 53-15.
