Lynx blow 20 point 3rd Quarter lead, series tied 1-1
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Lynx allowed a 20-point lead third quarter lead melt away and lost an 89-83 overtime game to the Phoenix Mercury in Game Two of the W-N-B-A Semifinals last night at the Target Center. The Lynx were up 59-39 in the middle of the third quarter before getting outscored 50-24 the rest of the way. Napheesa Collier scored 24 points in the losing effort. The Lynx had 17 turnovers in the game, including seven from point guard Courtney Williams. The best-of-five series is tied at a game apiece. Game Three is in Phoenix on Friday.
