Lynx Defeat Liberty

The Minnesota Lynx avenged their W-N-B-A Finals loss to the New York Liberty with a 100-93 win at the Target Center last night. The Lynx trailed by eight early but rallied back and held a lead throughout the second half. Napheesa Collier poured in 30 points in the victory, while Kayla McBride chipped in with 24. Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve says Collier was playing with an intensity she hadn’t seen before.

Minnesota is in first place in the W-N-B-A at 23-5. New York dipped to 17-9. The Lynx visit the Aces on Saturday.
