Lynx lose in Indy

(Indianapolis, IN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Lynx lost at Indiana last night 83-72 to dip to 33-10 on the season. The Lynx rested star player Napheesa Collier, so relied on others to produce. Center Jessica Shepard led the way with 16 points and seven rebounds on a night when the Lynx shot just ten-percent from three-point range. Head coach Cheryl Reeve says when the shots aren’t falling her team usually picks up its game in other areas and that didn’t happen last night. Kelsey Mitchell paced the Fever with 18 points. Indiana improved to 24-20 on the year. Minnesota will close out the regular season tomorrow night at home against Golden State at 7 P-M at the Target Center. The Lynx have already locked up the number-one overall seed in the postseason.
