Lynx Pick Up Win In Chicago

The Minnesota Lynx got back into the win column with a 91-78 win over the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena in the Windy City last night. The victory avenges a Saturday loss in Chicago and pushes the Minnesota record to 19-4 on the season. The Lynx trailed by two at halftime before outscoring Chicago 47-32 the rest of the way. Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve says the Lynx did better on defense.

Napheesa Collier led the way with 29 points, while Courtney Williams chipped in with 18. The 7-14 Sky were led by Angel Reese, who scored 22 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Former Gopher star Rachel Banham of Lakeville netted 15 for Chicago. The Lynx hold the best record in the W-N-B-A and will host Phoenix tomorrow afternoon at the Target Center at noon.
