Lynx Rally For Key Win
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx had a huge second half to beat the Las Vegas Aces last night at the Target Center 76-62. The Lynx outscored Las Vegas 48-23 after trailing by nine at halftime. Courtney Williams scored 18 of her 20 points in the second half, while Natisha Hiedeman and Diamond Miller added 12 points apiece off the bench. The victory pushes Minnesota into the championship game of the in-season W-N-B-A Commissioner’s Cup, which will be July 1st against Caitlin Clark and Indiana in Minneapolis. Minnesota is in first place in the W-N-B-A at 11-1. The Aces dipped to 5-6. Lynx star player Napheesa Collier missed the final quarter-and-a-half after leaving with a back injury. There is no report on her condition. The Lynx host the Sparks on Saturday.
