Lynx Resume Training Camp Today

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx were off yesterday and will return to training camp today in Minneapolis at Mayo Clinic Square. Minnesota star Napheesa Collier says she is focused on helping the team win games and not too worried about in the chase for league M-V-P or Defensive Player of the Year honors. She is the reigning W-N-B-A Defensive Player of the Year and says if she continues to be in that conversation, the team can win games. The Lynx open the preseason schedule on Tuesday with a game in Chicago against the Sky. Chicago returns to Minnesota a week from tomorrow for a second exhibition game, this one in the Target Center. Minnesota will open the regular season at Dallas on May 16th. That game will feature top overall pick Paige Bueckers of Hopkins, who will make her W-N-B-A debut for the Wings that night.
