Lynx Season Is Over

(Minnesota News Network- Phoenix, AZ) — The Minnesota Lynx went missing in the fourth quarter yet again and lost an 86-81 contest to the Phoenix Mercury in Game Four of the W-N-B-A Semifinals. The Lynx led by as many as 14 points in the first half and held a 13-point lead after three quarters of play. But, Phoenix outscored Minnesota 31-13 in the fourth quarter. Kayla McBride scored 31 points to lead the Lynx, while Courtney Williams chipped in with 20. The Lynx did have star player Napheesa Collier, who missed the game due to the ankle injury she suffered in Game Three. Head coach Cheryl Reeve also missed the game due to being suspension for her reaction to a no-call on the collision that injured Collier.
