Lynx Slam Sky
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx opened up the second act of their W-N-B-A campaign with a bang, securing a 91-68 win over the Chicago Sky at the Target Center on Wednesday night. Trailing by six after 10 minutes, Minnesota finished the half on a 24-9 run to lead by nine at the break, then started the third quarter with an 11-0 burst to really put the game away. All five starters scored in double-digits, led by Napheesa Collier’s 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks plus 19 points by Kayla McBride as well. The Lynx are now 21-4 on the season and 13-0 at home.
