Lynx use big 2nd half to take Game 1 of Semis

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Courtney Williams scored a game-high 23 points as the Lynx beat the Mercury 82-69 in Game 1 of the W-N-B-A best-of-five semifinal series. Kayla McBride scored 21 points and Napheesa Collier added 18 as the Lynx rallied from a 47-40 halftime deficit. The top-seeded Lynx played great defense in the second half limiting Phoenix to just 22 points on their way to securing the victory. Game 2 is Tuesday night at Target Center.
