Mabel Schmalz, age 86, of Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Buffalo Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center, Gideons, or Zion Lutheran Church for their local charity outreach programs. Arrangements are by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service of Olivia.
