Man Hit by Pickup After Exiting Vehicle in Howard Lake
A Shakopee man was taken to the hospital after he got out of a vehicle and was then hit by a pickup in Howard Lake Tuesday afternoon.
The State Patrol says 27-year-old Christopher Fasching was taken to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Patrol says Fasching was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Howard Lake man that was eastbound on Highway 12 when the driver stopped at 10th Avenue. Fasching then exited the vehicle and was hit by the westbound pickup, driven by a 33-year-old Cokato man.
The drivers were not injured.
The incident happened just before 1:30pm.
