Man Injured in Stearns Co “Farm Accident”

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says a Maple Grove man was injured in a farm accident.
Deputies were called to a crash with injuries just after 12:30pm Wednesday to a farm field off Manana Road north of Richmond.

Deputies learned that 22-year-old Paul Kochenderfer got a pickup stuck in the mud and after getting the truck out, continued accelerating and struck a large hay bale.

Authorities say Kochenderfer was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of a head injury.
