Man Injured While Cutting Branch From Tree

An Eden Valley man was injured when he was cutting a tree branch Sunday afternoon.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says 62-year-old Daniel Ruprecht was cutting off a large branch from a tree in Paynesville Township when it fell and hit the top of his head causing a laceration.

Family members at the scene rendered first aid until responders arrived. Ruprecht was then transported to the Paynesville Hospital for treatment.
