Marcella Mae Alfson Hansen, age 101 of Cyrus, Minnesota, passed away in Morris, MN, on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Funeral services for Marcella Hansen will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 9:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cyrus, MN.

Please join the family for a time of visiting, sharing and remembering Marcella’s life following the service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cyrus. Coffee and goodies will be served.

A private burial will be performed for immediate family.

Marcella spent her entire life devoted to her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family. She served in the ministry until the end, praying for others and being a faithful witness to the Lord. Her life was a true testament of her commitment to the Lord, and she selflessly lived her life for Him. In doing so, she touched so many lives, and brought countless into the fold of Christ.

She is survived by her two sons: Allen Mark Hansen and Paul Douglas Hansen; her brother: Lawrence Alfson, five grandchildren: Jessica, Jason, Jenna, Ali, and Alexander; thirteen great-grandchildren: Micaiah, Jaime, Elias, Jaden, Abby, Jordan, Toben, Justin, Katie, Naamiah, Emily, Titus, and Kameron; one great-great grandchild: Whitaker; and countless family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Maude Ness Alfson, Joseph Arnold Alfson; siblings: Leona Alfson, Manferd Alfson, and Grace Alfson; and husband: Arne Berg Hansen.

Arrangements are with Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.
