Mariners Grab Series Lead

The Seattle Mariners knocked off the Blue Jays 3-1 in Game One of the American League Championship Series in Toronto. Cal Raleigh was 2-for-4 and hit a solo homer in the sixth inning. Former Twins infielder Jorge Polanco also had a pair of hits and led the team with two R-B-I. Bryce Miller earned the win after tossing six innings of one-run ball and Andres Munoz notched his second save of the postseason. The Mariners lead the best-of-seven series 1-0. George Springer hit a solo homer for Toronto in the setback. Kevin Gausman was tagged with the loss.
