Mariners Take Series From Twins
The Twins dropped their second straight series as the Mariners nipped them 2-1 on Sunday afternoon in Seattle. Randy Aronzarena singled in the winning run in the ninth for the walk off win to take two straight from Minnesota and take two of three in the series. The Twins also dropped two of three to the Rays to open the road trip. Twins starter Chris Paddack gave up just four hits and one run while striking out 10 over eight innings of work. Twins Manager Rocco Baldelli talks about the job Paddack has been doing on the mound his last few starts.
Griffen Jax suffered the loss in the bottom of the ninth. The Twins are now 31-27 on the season. Minnesota begins a four game series with Oakland tonight, coverage begins at 8:30pm on KNUJ and SAM 107.3.
