Mary Ellen Swanz, age 87, of Standburg, SD passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Avantara Care Center in Lake Norden, SD surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 13th at the Houseman Funeral Home in Clear Lake, SD. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Tuesday, August 12th at the Houseman Funeral Home in Clear Lake, SD. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waverly, SD. Houseman Funeral Home of Clear Lake, SD has been entrusted with the arrangements.
