Medical Examiner Confirms Body Found in Mississippi River is Missing Man
(Learfield News/Sartell, MN) — The medical examiner confirms that a body found inside a car in the Mississippi River in Benton County is a man who was missing nearly 60 years.
Roy Benn was last seen September 25th, 1967 at a cafe in Sartell.
The submerged car was discovered by a fisherman’s sonar on August 10th.
DNA testing helped determine Benn’s identity.
His cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
