Meeker County Barn Fire

A barn was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon in Meeker County north of Grove City.

The Sheriff’s Office says at just after 3pm, a fire was reported on 291st Street in Swede Grove Township.

On arrival, a deputy saw a barn on the property that was fully engulfed in flames.

The property is owned by 26-year-old Wyatt Renne.

The barn was unoccupied at the time of the fire and is a complete loss.

It’s believed a nearby brush fire was the cause of the fire.

No one was injured.
