MEEKER COUNTY CHURCH DESTROYED BY FIRE
A church in Meeker County was destroyed by a fire early this (Thursday) morning northeast of Cosmos. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report from a passerby driving on Highway 4 saying he saw a glow from the area of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cosmos on 145th Street. The caller then checked the area and found the church engulfed in flames. Authorities say the church is a total loss. No one was hurt and a cause is under investigation.
