Meeker County Issues No Wake Zone Order

The Meeker County Board of Commissioners issued a temporary no wake zone on several county lakes.

Those lakes include Arvilla, Big Swan, Erie, Manuella, Minnie Belle, Star Lake or any other lake that is at or above the lake’s ordinary high-water level.

The no-wake is within 300 feet of the shore and requires watercraft to operate at the slowest possible speed necessary to maintain steerage and in no case greater that five mph.

The order is effective immediately through July 30th.
