Meeker County Methamphetamine Seizure

Authorities found over one and a half pounds of methamphetamine in a vehicle after it was searched last week in Meeker County.

On Friday, Agents of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a person who was suspected of trafficking methamphetamine into the CEE-VI service area from the Twin Cities Metro area.

During the stop, search warrants were executed on the driver and his vehicle and agents recovered over a pound and a half of methamphetamine.

The driver and passenger, a 46-year-old Prinsburg man and a 46-year-old Montevideo man, were arrested and taken to the Meeker County jail on 1st Degree Controlled Substance charges.
