Michigan State blows out Gophers
(East Lansing, MN) — The Spartans got up big and never looked back as they rolled past the Golden Gophers 73-51 on Tuesday night at the Breslin Center. Both Tre Hollowman and Jaden Akins each scored 12 points as No. 7 Michigan State won for the 13th straight time to improve to 18-2 overall and 9-0 in the Big Ten. Dawson Garcia scored 21 points in the loss as the Gophers fall to 11-10 overall and 3-7 in the conference. Minnesota sees their three game win streak come to an end as they prepare to host Washington on Saturday at Williams Arena.
