Military Collection Display in Willmar

WILLMAR — In honor of Veterans Day, the United States Military Historical Collection is on display at the Willmar City Auditorium.

The West Central Tribune reports the collection includes more than 7,000 items curated by Jonathan Lindstrand.

This is the 27th annual display of the collection.

It opened Sunday and continues today (Tuesday) from 8am until 8pm.

The collection was started 41 years ago and grows with new items each year.

Included in the collection are uniforms, weapons and other field items.
