Minnesota Frost make Playoffs

(Toronto/Minnesota News Network) — The defending champion Minnesota Frost needed to win their final two regular season games to earn a P-W-H-L postseason berth and they did just that. The Frost beat Boston on Saturday 8-1 to secure the final spot in the four-team postseason field. The fourth-seeded Frost will take on the second-seeded Toronto Sceptres in a best-of-five semifinal series starting tomorrow night. The other semifinal pits top-seeded Montreal against third-seeded Ottawa.
