Minnesota Lawmakers Reconvene for 1-Day Special Session
(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota lawmakers are back at the State Capitol this morning (Mon 10am) for a one-day special session.
The way it was called by Governor Tim Walz, legislators will have 21 hours to pass the two-year state budget.
The special session starts at 10 am and must end by 7 am. Tuesday.
House leaders say they can’t stop members from introducing amendments, but they are discouraging it.
Governor Walz and legislative leaders are confident all 14 bills will pass in the one-day session.
