Minnesota Twins Fire Manager Rocco Baldelli
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are moving in another director following a 92-loss season. The team announced yesterday that it has fired Manager Rocco Baldelli. Baldelli was with the Twins for seven seasons, compiling a record of 527 wins and 505 losses. That’s a winning percentage of .511. He has the third most wins as a Twins manager, trailing only Tom Kelly and Ron Gardenhire. Baldelli was named American League Manager of the Year in 2019. But this season, the team struggled to a record of 70-92. The Twins said they have started their search for a new manager.
