Minnesota’s top Football player chooses Gophers
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The University of Minnesota football team’s 2026 recruiting class is getting stronger. Four-star athlete Roman Voss of Jackson County Central committed to the football program yesterday. Voss is the top-ranked high school player in Minnesota, and he chose his home state team over Alabama, where he had an official visit earlier this month. Voss plays quarterback in high school, but he will likely play tight end in college.
