MINOR INJURIES IN CRASH IN FRONT OF GFW SCHOOL

The Sibley County sheriff’s Office was called to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 in front of the entrance to GFW School in Gibbon at 8 this (Tuesday) morning.  Deputies say 24-year-old Benji Steiner of Winthrop was driving a Ford Explorer westbound on Highway 19 and collided with a Pontiac GS passenger car driven by a Fairfax juvenile who was attempting to turn onto the GFW property.  Both drivers reported minor injuries but did not require medical attention.  The state patrol assisted at the scene.
