MN Farmfest Opens in Redwood County

(Learfield News/Morgan, MN) Farmfest 2025 opens today (Tues) in southwest Minnesota’s Redwood County.

Marketing director Niki Jones says hundreds of agribusinesses set up exhibits at the annual farm show in Morgan, “When attendees get here they will see tons of machinery and implements and attachments for machinery, but not just that. Anything you might need to run a farm is here and the experts who come with it are here to exchange ideas.”

Jones says farmers come from Missouri, Iowa, and the Dakotas to attend Farmfest.

Members of Congress from Minnesota are taking part in a forum on the ag policy safety net today (Tues 10:30-11:45am) at Farmfest.

Jones says Representatives Angie Craig, Brad Finstad, Michelle Fischbach, and Pete Stauber will be discussing what’s going in rural Minnesota for farmers as it relates to policy in the state and in U.S. Congress. She also says she’s certain that they will cover the farm bill and where that stands currently.

The forum will be streamed at farmfest.com.

Jones says there are many family activities including the kids pedal pull this afternoon.

There’s a sweet corn feed at 11:30 today.
