MNDOT NAME A SNOWPLOW CONTEST

MnDOT is once again inviting you to submit creative snowplow names for its sixth annual Name A Snowplow contest.  MnDOT is encouraging you to submit witty, unique and Minnesota or winter-themed snowplow name ideas through their website.  Rules include you may only submit one name, submissions are limited to no more than 30 characters, nothing vulgar, politically inspired names will not be considered and past winners will also not be considered.  Past names include Plowy McPlowFace, We’re Off to See the Blizzard, Plowabunga and last year’s District 7 winner – I Came, I Thaw I Conquered.  Submissions will be accepted through noon Friday, December 19 and you will be able to vote on your favorites in January.  Eight names that get the most votes will make their way onto a snowplow, one for each MnDOT district across the state.  Find out more at mndot.gov.
