Mobility Scooter Rider Injured in Sibley Co Crash

The driver of a mobility scooter was injured in a collision with an SUV in Sibley County Tuesday afternoon in Winthrop.

The State Patrol says 53-year-old Amy Swanson of Winthrop was taken to New Ulm Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says both vehicles were eastbound on Highway 19 near Main Street when the collision happened just after 2:30pm.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.
