PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

FALL LEAF PICKUP

Beginning the week of November 10, 2025, and continuing until November 14, 2025, the Montevideo Public Works Department will be cleaning city streets of leaves. Reminder that only streets and avenues with curb will be cleaned.

Residents are reminded that: 1) City Ordinance 7-1-15 permits only the raking of boulevard leaves into the street and not leaves from the entire yard; 2) the fewer cars parked on city streets and avenues from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., the more thorough the job can be done; and, 3) the clean-up crew will clean each street and avenue only once. DO NOT rake leaves into the street after your street has been cleaned.

Tostenson, Inc. will pick up all properly bagged leaves from private property in the city limits on regular garbage pickup days the week of November 10th.
