Morris Area Scholarship Program’s 2026 Scholarship Competition

Grace Alessi of Morris was crowned Miss Morris Area at the Morris Area Scholarship Program’s 2026 Scholarship Competition, held Saturday at the Morris Area High School Auditorium. Her Community Service Initiative was Light the Way: Hospice with Heart. Alessi was awarded a $1500 educational scholarship, a $500 University of Minnesota Morris scholarship, and paid entry fees for the Miss Minnesota competition. 

May Diddy of Minneapolis was crowned Miss Midwest with a Community Service Initiative of Young, Sober and Thriving: Raising Awareness of Substance Misuse and Addiction in Young People. She was awarded a $1000 educational scholarship, a $500 U of M Morris scholarship, plus paid entry fees to the Miss Minnesota contest.

Carly Hansen of Minnetonka was crowned Miss West Central with her Community Service Initiative of Arbor Day, Every Day. She also received a $1000 educational scholarship and a $500 U of M Morris scholarship, plus entry fees to the Miss Minnesota contest. 

Miss Morris Area’s Teen for the coming year will be Nora Young of Morris, while the Miss Midwest’s Teen will be Rylen Schmitz of Alexandria.
