Morris City Closes On Purchase Of New Liquor Store Location

The City of Morris has closed on the purchase of a new liquor store location. The City worked with Joe Riley, the City Attorney, and Grant County Abstract to finalize the purchase. The sale price of the land was $151,285, but with closing fees, title insurance and some property taxes, the total paid was $152,773. The City hopes to get bids on the project this summer and break ground in the fall.
