Morris Eagles Heading to State Tournament
The Morris Eagles are heading back to the State Tournament with two big wins yesterday in Ortonville. They beat Rosen 14-7 with Tanner Picht, Mac Beyer, Gideon Joos & Zach Bruns each hitting a solo home run. Brett Hansen started the game pitching over 5 innings for the win and Jake Torgerson came in for the save. The 2nd game was Eagles 6 & Minneota 2 with Mac Beyer hitting a home run, Tanner Picht with 3 hits and Brandon Jergenson on the mound all 9 innings for the win. They take on the Dumont Saints today in Rosen at 1:00 to see who gets 1st & 2nd seeding at State next weekend.
