MOTORCYCLIST SERIOUSLY HURT IN CRASH IN FRANKLIN
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was called to a motorcycle crash Saturday night around 9 pm at the intersection of First Street South and 5th Avenue East in Franklin. A preliminary investigation says that a 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Jordan Lund of Franklin was traveling north on First South and was negotiating a curve in the roadway when the motorcycle left the roadway and crashed. Lund was taken to CentraCare –Redwood Falls Hospital with serious injuries. Fairfax police, Franklin MRU and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
