Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hennepin County Crash

A 30-year-old man from Buffalo was seriously injured in a crash in Hennepin County Thursday evening in Brooklyn Park.

The State Patrol says Ryan Friedl was taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Friedl was driving a motorcycle westbound on Highway 610 when he lost control in a curve and struck the back of a pickup that was also traveling westbound.

The driver of the pickup, 44-year-old Oleksandr Bak of Otsego, was not injured.

The crash happened just after 6:30pm.
