Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Renville County Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Renville County Saturday night in Franklin.

The Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Jordan Lund of Franklin was taken to Redwood Falls Hospital for treatment.

Lund was traveling north on 1st Street South and was negotiating a curve in the roadway when the motorcycle left the roadway and crashed near 5th Avenue East.

The Sheriff’s Office says driver impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash happened at about 9pm.
