Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Wright Co Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Wright County Sunday afternoon in Monticello Township.

The State Patrol says 44-year-old Nicolas Opatz of Breckenridge was taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Opatz was traveling eastbound on I-94 when he lost control and was tossed from the motorcycle.

The Patrol says he was not wearing a helmet.
