Names Released in Fatal Kandiyohi County Crash

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of those involved in a fatal crash that happened Saturday.

The driver of the pickup has been identified as 56-year-old Ross Strom of Aitkin. His condition remains unknown following hospitalization.

The driver of the other vehicle has been identified as 74-year-old Robert Knutson of Spicer. His condition also remains unknown following hospitalization.

The Sheriff’s Office says his passenger, 88-year-old Janice Hazen of Belgrade, died as a result of her injuries.

The crash happened at Tri-County Road and 135th Ave NE just before 11am.

The crash remains under investigation.
