NAMES RELEASED IN FATAL MEEKER COUNTY SEMI COLLISION

The state patrol has released the names of the drivers involved in a fatal collision between semis Friday afternoon in Meeker County.  Authorities were called shortly after 3 pm to 22964 Highway 55.  One semi  was stopped on eastbound Highway 55 waiting to turn into a driveway.  It was struck by another eastbound semi.   One of the semi drivers 57-year-old David Hofstedter of Burtrum, MN was killed.  The other driver 73-year-old Thomas Haag of Eden Valley wasn’t hurt.
