Names Released in Fatal Wright County Crash

Names have been released in a fatal crash involving a semi and a car in Wright County Thursday evening west of South Haven.

The State Patrol says 63-year-old Bette Nelson of Annandale died at the scene. She was driving the car.

Fifty-seven-year-old Steven Johnson of Hastings was driving the semi. Forty-six-year-old Curtis Watkins of South St. Paul was a passenger in the semi. They were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 55 at Reardon Avenue just before 5:30pm.
